Seaton Tramway operates a 3-mile narrow-gauge heritage tram route between Seaton, Colyford and Colyton in East Devon. The line runs alongside the River Axe estuary through two nature reserves, offering scenic views and opportunities to spot local wildlife including herons, kingfishers and egrets. The journey takes around 30 minutes each way, with open-top or enclosed trams depending on the weather. Visitors can hop off at each stop to explore the coastal town of Seaton, the village of Colyford, and the historic town of Colyton. Seaton Station, rebuilt in 2018, includes Claude’s Café and a gift shop. The tramway forms part of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and connects with walking routes including the South West Coast Path.
